Italian design has always emphasized fine quality and remarkable craftsmanship, and this rare and visually arresting “Pagrù” chair is no exception. It is a great representation of how the Space Age influenced mid-century design. And evidently, Space Age design has stayed with us.
This lounge chair has its original camel-coloured leather upholstery which covers the whole chair. The seat is sectioned into two identical parts and rests on two parallel legs that support the front and the back of the chair. Apart from the unusual shape of this curvaceous Pagrù, the ‘Y’ shaped black profiles on each side are the main design elements.
The original leather upholstery has a beautiful patina. Thanks to its impressive size and the soft leather, this chair is perfect for lounging while also adding an eye-catching visual element to any space.
Condition:
In good vintage condition. The leather has small scratches and marks.
