The focus is divided equally between the solid oak wood base and legs and the fully upholstered mattress. The square mattress beautifully covers the body, following its straight lines. Kilim fabric, characterized by its intricate geometric patterns, hails from a centuries-old tradition, originally woven by nomadic tribes in the Middle East and Asia. The word ‘Kilim’ refers to a pileless textile, created by one of many flat weaving techniques. It’s commonly made by interweaving the warps threads and weft threads on looms, using antique kilim techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. Its enduring appeal thus lies in its captivating blend of heritage and aesthetics.
