At its inception, Art Deco was orientated towards the luxury market and paid little notice to costs and retail prices. The structure of this pair is composed of wood with a beautiful veneer that has versatile shades all across the bodies. The veneer is greatly enhanced by the characteristic rectangular shape that comprises the backs and arms. The edges are smoothed for a softer look that generally predated Modernism.
