Arne Vodder oval rosewood dining table model 212 with two extension leaves. Manufactured by Sibast Furniture 1960s.

This oval table is executed in solid and veneer rosewood and has aged beautifully. Due to time and sunlight especially the bookmatched table top developed a beautiful expressive grain pattern. Combined with Vodder's subtle design and the great craftsmanship of Sibast Furniture, it gives the table an understated and elegant appearance that is luxurious without having to scream.

The sculpted tapered legs are cylindrical and made of solid rosewood. Mounted underneath the table are two additional legs that provide extra support. The table can easily be extended when desired with the available extension leaves. The extension leaves that extend the table from 198 to 298 cm, are darker in color because they have most likely only been used on special occasions.

Condition:

In very good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. There are two hairline cracks in the veneer of the top. Legs have some small marks and scratches. End of the legs are slightly lighter and are a little dry. The extension leaves are darker and have some small marks and chips.
