We are H. Gallery, one of the fastest growing design galleries in the Netherlands. Specializing in exceptional pieces from mainly 1950 - 1960, we operate in the top end of the international design market, with clients all over the world. LAMP RESTORER

With a focus on Mid-Century Design, the items vary from country to country and piece to piece. Your goal is to restore these pieces to their former glory, often with a fresh contemporary look. Creating these unique and beautiful pieces means that every day will be filled with a new exciting creation. Because we strive for perfection, quality always takes precedence over (high) speed and we are looking for a high-quality lamp restorer who understands what it takes to achieve the desired results.

Are you someone who likes to be busy, is handy, has an affinity with repairing lamps, and you also don't feel like sitting behind a computer all day, then this position might be something for you.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone, who:

  • has experience with restoring furniture, making lampshades is a plus,

  • works precisely and has a good eye for detail,

  • is able to work result-oriented,

  • feels responsibility about his/her task,

  • who can handle feedback well, and sees an opportunity to improve pieces even more to make better,

  • likes to work in a team of different nationalities,

  • is available for 1-2 working days (8-16 hours) per week,

  • preferably speaks English in addition to Dutch.

It is important that you have a passion for what you do and want to restore our vintage items with enthusiasm and raise them to our gallery standards. You will work with the best materials together with specialists from the highest segment.

For this you will receive a suitable salary based on your experience and talent. Your studio is located on location in our gallery in Utrecht. It is a nice, informal workplace where you can learn a lot because you work together with a small team of specialists.
