INTERNSHIP POSITION

We are H. Gallery, one of the fastest growing design galleries in the Netherlands. Specialised in exceptional design, predominantly from the 1950's - 1960's, we are active at the top end of the international design market, with clients all over the world. TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS ASSISTANT - INTERNSHIP (4-6 MONTHS)

Your tasks:

  • Assisting with the coordination of our global transports.

  • Assisting with the coordination of our inventory

  • Assisting with the organization of our storage locations.

  • Assisting with preparing transport and export papers, packing of our special items.

  • Assisting with and the update of our digital inventory system.

  • Assisting with all client contacts on the different platforms that we are on.

  • Assisting with the coordination of the repairs and re-upholsteries of our new items.

  • Help preparing the events and fairs that we participate in.

  • Be hands-on, to keep the gallery working smoothly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
Somebody, who:

  • is energetic,

  • has an academic working and thinking level.

  • is fluent in English, and preferably Dutch

  • feels ownership of the tasks given

  • is able to multitask,

  • likes to take initiative,

  • likes to work in a team of people from all over the world,

  • is available for 4 business days a week for a period of 4 - 6 months. Priority will be given to people who will do an internship of 5 to 6 months.

IMPORTANT !!!

  • In case you are a low or medium energy person and prefer to sit behind a desk most of the day, this internship most likely is not for you.
