Italian mid-20th century lighting design was infinitely captivating, featuring one-of-a-kind models crafted by renowned Italian designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Gio Ponti, Gavina and other internationally esteemed names. The allure of Italian mid-century lighting still endures, thanks to the timeless inventiveness of models such as these wall lamps. The design is individualistic, balancing the lamps on the border between art and design - if there is one at all -. With a form that recalls the Art Deco movement, these wall lamps combine a brass structure with a characteristic opal glass shade. The shades’ shape resembles that of traditional oil lamps’, with a collar and a so-called chimney. The shape is enhanced, with a more pronounced base and neck. Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Small marks on the frames and some discolouration on the glass. The brass has a beautiful patina.
