This eye-catching chair has a lot of personality, recalling different design styles and eras, including the Arts and Crafts movement, the minimalistic pine models of Axel Einar Hjorth’s Lovö series or the Amsterdamse School.
Versatile shapes and forms, seamless joinery, and finally, the material itself defines this chair. The aesthetic medley relies on the latter the most, playing with the different grains and colours of the wood. Uniquely, the full body is constructed of wood, where the seat and back flow naturally as if they were not made from a solid material. This is achieved by the use of individual squares of wood and the highest level of woodworking. This solution also creates a characteristic look as the differently grained and coloured blocks are put next to each other. The legs, arms, and the sides of the back are composed of a single piece of wood, framing the seat and backrest beautifully.
