This well-formed piece is dominated by its blonde oak construction that is immediately recognisable, with the incorporation of upholstery adding a unique and luxurious element to the piece. Executed entirely in solid oak, the structure’s versatile lines really stand out. The asymmetrical seat breaks the rigour of the design and adds a mid-century flair. The craftsmanship of Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron is evident in the joinery technique, as this bench has no visible tenon and mortise joints.

Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Some marks on the wood. The top of the bench has been replaced with new upholstery and wood tile, ensuring a refreshed appearance and structural integrity.
