Sculptural magazine stand in the style of Neues Frankfurt, Germany, 1960s.

In black painted metal with a symetrical and geometrical design. Resting on four feets and opening with six spaces to welcome magazines. Those strong metal lines imbricated in each other in a great graphical way, reminding of the movement from the 1920s-20s ‘Neue Frankfurt’. Term invented by Frankfurt’s Mayor, Ludwig Landmann in 1924 as a socio-political concept concerning a modern city planning but also new fashion, new musci, new product and new industrial design. The eponym Magazine, Das Neue Frankfurt, which commenced publication in 1926 participated in the recognition of ‘the social as well aesthetic value of modern architecture and design’ .
