This vivid three-seater sofa has an essentially mid-century look with the touches of Danish modernism. Characterized by simplicity, functionality and clean lines, this sofa has a stylish minimalistic aesthetic at its core. The restrained design of the frame is the perfect canvas for bold details, in this case for the stunning red velour upholstery. The fabric beautifully enhances the enveloping curve of the back and the thick seat cushion. The decorative twisted rope lining highlights the round edges and the sheer size of the body. Additionally, the single line of button tufting adds more depth. Uniquely, the horizontal line of buttons runs all the way to the end of the arms which is a playful and clever detail. Wood is the most important material in Danish mid-century design, and the luxurious upholstery highlights and complements the beautiful colour of the beech wood. Furthermore, the legs provide the sofa with visual lightness, balancing out the sizeable body.
