The slipper chair first appeared in Europe during the late 1600s. They were given their name due to their low seat height and short legs. It was said that they looked like someone had put slippers on them - and that’s exactly what they were used for, a place to sit while slipping on shoes.

The construction of these slipper chairs revolves around the use of high-quality materials, exceptional comfort and the mastery of European cabinetmakers.
