Wooden Tea Trolley, Finland 1940s

This gorgeous tea trolley is reminiscent of the work of Alvar Aalto. It is made of pressed plywood and solid birch and the lining and shaping of the trolley is done with a great sense of proportions. The item has a framed top above a spindle shelve and wooden wheels.

Condition:

In vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use; The top of the cart has had quite some use, varnish has come off. Item has small chips and marks. Something unreadable (presumably in Finnish) is written in pencil on the bottom of the top shelve.
