This model “31915” table lamp from the 1940s is a clear example of Brisborg’s thoughtful approach to form. The lamp features a slender, tapered wooden stem that rises from a brass circular base, creating a balanced and grounded silhouette. The warm tone of the metal adds a quiet decorative note without overpowering the design. The design is completed by a  gently scalloped fabric shade that softens the overall expression, diffusing the light in an ambient and even way that feels intimate rather than harsh. Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has recently been rewired and reconditioned. The shade is a later replacement. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the lamp may have some marks, scratches, and discolouration.
