Danish lighting design of the mid-20th century is admired for its quiet balance of form, material, and function. This floor lamp exemplifies that approach through a composition that feels both grounded and weightless. Functioning as both illumination and sculpture, the lamp embodies the refined restraint of Danish modernism. Three broad conical shades extend outward from the stem like petals, creating a radial arrangement that diffuses light in multiple directions. Their adjustable necks allow them to be moved in any direction, keeping with the traditional Danish value of functionality. The off-white fabric helps to emit a warm, even glow, softening the atmosphere of any space while emphasizing the lamp’s organic geometry. The shades are supported by steel fittings that introduce a chromatic contrast when lit, their tone deepening with age thanks to the material’s patina. Below, the black metal tripod base anchors the structure with striking simplicity. Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has recently been rewired. The shades are a later replacement and have been custom made by our in-house atelier. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the leather and metal may have developed a natural patina over time and can have marks, scratches, and discolouration.
