Swedish lighting manufacturer Luxus gave form to some of the now-iconic models that define the “Swedish mid-century style”. Luxus was founded by Uno and Östen Kristiansson circa 1950, in the city of Vittsjö. The works produced by Luxus favored the use of hardwood, but did not shy away from using glass, leather, plastic and acrylic.

Uno and Östen Kristiansson designed and manufactured most of Luxus’ products in-house - including this model. Design in the mid-century years was fueled by the development of materials and technology with stunning results, as seen in this model’s execution. It also possesses a futuristic impression that is proof of the era’s creative overflow. By combining quality materials with modern craftsmanship, the focus is on the sleek body of the lamps.
