The base and stem are made of metal, forming a thin vertical line that then meets the brass gooseneck at the top. The arc formed with the gooseneck element introduces a sense of movement, guiding the eye toward the white shade. This shade is the most distinctive element, its conical form with a perforated edge diffuses the light beautifully. The proportions of this piece are carefully thought-out, with the light colour of the shade offset by the black stem, resulting in a composition that feels both stable and visually interesting. In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The floor lamp has recently been reconditioned. There are minor dents and scratches in the metal. Due to the age and nature of the metal, the lamp may have marks, and discolouration. This lamp is compatible with an E27 / E26 (standard) fitting. All lighting can be converted for US usage.
