For a more upward or downward facing ray of light, the lampshade can be adjusted at the neck. On this joint a fine engraving is visible, noting the manufacturer’s mark of Idman. The lamp’s rod is covered with meticulously arranged rattan fibres, ascending down in a precise alignment, twisting and turning in a gradient of brown tones along the whole vertical stem. Due to its organic appearance, the addition of this natural material breaks the metallic finish of the lamp, creating harmony in the complementary tones and colours of the rattan and brass elements.
