The manufacturer Søholm Stentøj (“Søholm Stoneware”) was one of the oldest and most revered names in Danish ceramics. It was founded in Rønne, on the Baltic island of Bornholm, in 1835 and became known for its distinctive ceramic designs, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. In the middle of the 20th century, Søholm produced a wide range of stoneware in various patterns and shapes, marrying practicality with artistry to create items that feel both grounded and elegant.

This model “1025” table lamp’s small yet bold, rounded body sits with a grounded presence. The overall form highlights the ceramic, which shows the natural texture and handmade qualities. The unique ceramic base features a beautiful blue glaze, a clear artistic touch by Søholm. The body features gently rounded edges, providing the perfect support for the fabric shade. Condition:

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has recently been rewired and reconditioned. The shade is a later replacement. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the item may have marks, scratches, and discolouration. This lamp is compatible with an E26 / E27 (standard) fitting. All lighting can be converted for US usage.
