These chairs are exemplary of the main ideals of mid-century modernism, characterised by clean, simple lines, honest use of materials, and a lack of unnecessary decorative embellishments. Instead, the focus is on craftsmanship and clever design.

With a clear preoccupation with geometry, the chairs’ outstanding architectural frames recall the mastery of European designers, particularly Ib Kofod Larsen. The clearly lined frames contrast beautifully with the angled seating and give the pieces an open and light appearance. The backseat of this model is supported by the elongated back legs, creating a unique look. While the refined linearity defines the overall aesthetic, functionality was clearly an important aspect of the design. Due to the well-chosen proportions and upholstered body, the chairs offer great comfort.
