This timeless pair of Swedish Art Deco lounge chairs has a beautiful, almost sculptural form that evokes the high-end craftsmanship of the movement that’s steeped in old-school luxury and glamour. Art Deco was characterized by sleekness, opulence, and geometry, often prioritizing rich colours and luxe fabrics. These characteristics are also seen here, especially in the unique arms. Each chair features a reclined rectangular back over a deep seat along with elegantly curved armrests framed by the elm wood. In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. There are some small marks on the elm arms. The chairs have been reupholstered recently in a premium velour fabric.
