A low circular wooden base supports the slender brass rod, which transitions into a long reddish-brown wooden stem. The shaft remains straight and uninterrupted for most of its height, emphasising the verticality of the lamp before the composition opens outward at the top. A brass section divides into two curved arms, each describing an arc. The arrangement gives the lamp a distinctive branching silhouette while keeping the overall structure remarkably spare. The arms allow the shades to be adjusted independently, so their openings can face outward, or toward one same spot for additional light. The tapered fabric shades widen slightly toward the openings, echoing the outward movement of the brass arms.
