Pair of lounge chairs by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler in Iron and linen upholstery.

The frame is made of black painted iron, the fabric a light linen blend. Due to the thinness of the frame, the seat has an almost floating appearance. São Paulo, Brazil, ca 1960.

This version is very rare.

Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler are the duo behind 'Forma', the Brazilian Mid-Century Furniture company. With the rising interest in Brazilian design in recent years, slowly Hauner & Eisler are also getting the attention they deserve. We are sure many more interesting pieces will find the spotlight during the coming years.
