Like many of the decade’s designs, this model “32391” table lamp masterfully pairs different materials and textures. The pairing of brass and bakelite creates an interesting visual effect, along with the lovely colour palette. The green lacquered metal lamp shade “crowns” the base and neck beautifully, with a unique brass circle sitting on top of the shade. It appears as if the elongated neck pierces through the shade, which is a clever design element. Furthermore, the shade directs the light downwards and prevents any glare. The beautiful colour of the brass base and neck and smooth texture of the stem is emphasized even further when the light is turned on by the switch on the base.
