Mirrors are versatile pieces of interior décor with several functions and advantages; they create depth, increase light coverage, and add a statement to any space. Fusing function and form, wall mirrors offer useful reflection while also providing an eye-catching focal point in any room. This beautiful decorative mirror by Jacob Hermann has a light, yet defined look that is sure to stand out in any space.

The teak frame is very carefully sculpted, with clean edges and impeccable joinery. The edges are ever so slightly rounded with impeccable joinery. The craftsmanship throughout the design is very high-quality, showing the woodworking prowess of the Danish manufacturer, Randers Møbelfabrik. The lower part’s teak structure might seem odd at first glance, which is explained by this mirror’s original accessory: a vase. The blue glass vase, originally created by Per Lütke decorated the mirror. Thanks to the not too specific shape of the vase designed by Lütke, the hollow space can be filled with a different type of vase or other item. The teak wood’s grain is stunning, and its colour is perfect to bring warmth to any space.

Both in terms of its visual appearance and quality, this mirror reflects the Danish traditions of timelessness and craftsmanship. The design and material provide simple elegance, making this mirror perfect to bring some understated Danish modernism to any space. With a focus on craftsmanship, materials and clean lines, the philosophy behind the style remains relevant today.
